No. However, many of Mickel Therapy's core principles can be found in MBR therapy and we are grateful for the research and insight of Dr. David Mickel. The MindBody Reconnect founder Clare Caldwell used to practice Mickel Therapy, but MBR is its own unique, dynamic therapy, with it's techniques and tools, incorporating the teachings of Dr. Gabor Maté and others, along with the latest scientific research.

Psychoneuroimmunoendocrinology (PNEI), which was first described in 1936, is the study of the interactions between the psyche, neural and endocrine functions and immune responses. Psychoneuroimmuniology (PNI) is the term used to describe the interactions between the emotional state, nervous system function, and the immune system.

"The possibility of renewal exists so long as life exists. How to support that possibility in others and in ourselves is the ultimate question."
